Ocala Relocation Guide

This checklist is for people who have already decided to look at Ocala and need the move broken into jobs. The overview of why the sequence matters is on Moving to Ocala. This page is the list.

Before the trip

  • Write a housing brief: bedrooms, one story or two, yard, and a maximum payment you have discussed with a lender if you need one.
  • Pick two or three areas to see, using neighborhood questions rather than a single ranked list.
  • Gather identification and income documents your lender asks for. Do not email account numbers to this website.
  • Book enough time to drive between houses. Marion County is not a single neighborhood.

After you choose a house

  • Follow the inspection and insurance deadlines in the contract.
  • Ask the title company for a closing figure instead of budgeting from a blog.
  • Plan utilities, mail, and insurance binders for the possession date in the contract.
  • Keep school, medical, and licensing tasks with the agencies that actually handle them.

William helps with the house search and the contract. Send the relocation form if you want him to prepare showings around a travel date.
